Federal Government

Federal agencies play a large role in restoring rivers and streams in the Deschutes Basin.  They own large tracts of land, fund restoration activities, and manage natural resources in accordance with federal laws.

The Deschutes River Conservancy regularly works with the
Bureau of Reclamation, the Bureau of Land Management, and the Deschutes and Ochoco National Forests.
