Watershed councils restore upland, riparian, and aquatic habitats in the Deschutes Basin. Their projects complement DRC streamflow restoration projects, allowing each group to achieve the greatest possible outcomes.

The DRC has developed close working relationships with the Upper Deschutes Watershed Council and the Crooked River Watershed Council.

In addition to these two organizations, the DRC has worked with the following Watershed Councils on projects in the Deschutes Basin:
