Tamara Weaver joined the DRC in February 2007 and is the Director of Finance & Administration. A native Oregonian, Tamara moved from Heppner to Eugene to obtain her B.S. in Accounting and a MBA in Finance, both from the University of Oregon. She has over twenty years of senior management experience. She has worked in the private sector and for non-profits as well as governmental entities. While living in Eugene, Tamara served as the Finance Director for Lane Transit District. Most recently, Tamara has been working as financial consultant for several organizations in Bend and prior to that, she was the Business and Operations Manager for the Deschutes County Health Department.

The DRC is delighted to have someone of Tamara’s caliber as the new Director of Finance & Administration. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of her field and the Central Oregon community. Her commitment and enthusiasm for the community, environment and economics of the region are a good match for the DRC.
