Program Manager
Kate joined the DRC in 2003 as a Project Manager. She is currently the Reach Manager for the Crooked River and its tributaries, including McKay and Ochoco Creeks, and also works on storage issues in the Deschutes Basin. Kate holds a Masters degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon with an emphasis in community-based collaboration. She holds a BA in Geology from Colgate University. Prior to working at the DRC, Kate worked as a land steward for The Nature Conservancy, a policy analyst for Redefining Progress, and an ecologist restoring native landscapes in Colorado.
