Brett monitors program effectiveness and coordinates restoration monitoring.
Brett joined the DRC in July 2005 as a Program Analyst. He developes restoration strategy, measures program effectiveness, and coordinates restoration monitoring across the upper Deschutes Basin. Brett's background helped prepare him for working on a diverse set of project - he completed a Masters in Environmental Management at the Yale School of Forestry in 2005, and he has an undergraduate degree in biology from Dartmouth College. Prior to joining the DRC, Brett worked as a science teacher and as a field technician for ecological research projects. When he's not wading through data at the DRC, Brett spends his time floating Oregon's rivers or riding one of his five bicycles.
