Director of Marketing & Communications
Bea joined the DRC as the Marketing & Communications Director in the fall of 2005. She has over 15 years of non-profit experience in marketing, communications, strategic program development and management, event coordination and fundraising. Prior to working for the DRC, Bea worked for the Pacific Crest Outward Bound School as the Admissions Director, a climbing, mountaineering and white water rafting instructor and as an outdoor education risk management consultant throughout the west. After moving to Bend, Bea worked for the COCC Foundation as the program coordinator of a community-wide lecture series and as an independent contractor for big event planning. A native of South Carolina, Bea moved west in 1990 after graduating from Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg, Virginia with a BA in Art History.
