Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Finance and Administration (Director) will support strategic objectives of the organization while managing the financial and administrative functions. The Director will continue to refine or improve administrative and financial systems including finance, accounting, information technology, human resources, and office management. The Director will supervise two bookkeepers and manage the IT support consultant. The Director will have functional, hands-on responsibility over accounting functions including grant management and should also be skilled at capturing and analyzing key data and processes to understand financial performance, risk, and the resulting fundraising needs. The Director will prepare needed monthly, quarterly and annual reports including the annual audited financial
statements. All audits, including the A-133 and periodic grant reviews are expected to be of the highest standards. The Director will oversee all regulatory compliance.

As a member of the senior management team, the Director of Finance and Administration will be engaged in strategic planning and financial risk management. The Director will be the primary liaison with the Board of Director’s Finance & Audit Committee as well as with all external auditors.
