Crane Prairie Reservoir at Quinn River
Two reservoirs along the upper Deschutes River store water during the winter and release water for irrigation during the late spring, summer, and early fall. The reservoirs provide summer irrigation water for three downstream irrigation districts. Seasonal changes in flow associated with water management contribute to downstream water quality problems.
