Streamflow Restoration Programs
Founded in 1996, the Deschutes River Conservancy (DRC) works to restore instream flows and improve water quality in the Deschutes River Basin. The DRC accomplishes its mission by working collaboratively with water right holders, irrigation districts, agencies and other non-profits to develop strategies and implement projects that meet instream flow targets while addressing issues of broader watershed health.
The DRC utilizes four programs to improve instream flows in the Deschutes Basin:
