The Deschutes Valley Water District plans a public meeting Tuesday about adding a fish ladder to its dam on the Crooked River.

The meeting is set for 2 p.m. at Culver City Hall, 200 S.W. First St., according to the district. The district is asking the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for an amendment to its hydroelectric license to allow for fish passage over the dam, which is about a mile upstream from the Deschutes River at Opal Springs.
