Redband trout, steelhead, and salmon are vital to the ecological, cultural, and economic health of the Deschutes Basin but face challenges from changing river conditions, habitat loss, and water management. Megan Hill, Natural Resources Manager for the Pelton Round Butte Project, brings expertise in balancing hydropower operations with fish restoration, while Jason Wilcox, Fisheries Program Manager, provides insight into habitat restoration strategies. Moderated by Lisa Seales, DRC Program Manager, this discussion explores fish recovery and the partnerships protecting these species.

ABOUT THE RAISE THE DESCHUTES SEMINAR SERIES

Deschutes River Conservancy's Raise the Deschutes Seminar Series was created to increase regional water knowledge, understanding of local issues, and awareness of available solutions. These seminars provide opportunities for the public to engage with water experts who will present on and answer questions regarding the primary water issues affecting the Deschutes River Basin and the programs in place to address these issues.
