The Live Auction at RiverFeast benefits the Deschutes River Conservancy's mission to restore streamflow and improve water quality in the Deschutes Basin. Bid on exclusive adventures and experiences, custom art and other wonderful packages.

3 – “Dreaming of Water” by Susan Luckey Higdon

Artist Susan Luckey Higdon created this image as the signature art for Deschutes River Conservancy’s 2019 RiverFeast Dinner & Auction. Referenced from a photograph by Deb Quinlin taken at Camp Polk Meadow Preserve, the painting captures Whychus Creek meandering through a grove of ponderosa pine with the warm glow of the afternoon sunlight filtering through the canopy. This 24” x 48” giclee reproduction of the original artwork is beautifully rendered on 2” gallery wrapped canvas.

4 – Art and Wine in Charming Carlton, Oregon for 4

Known as Oregon's "Wine Capital", Carlton, Oregon offers views of picturesque vine-covered hills and a charming downtown district. Delight in a two-night stay for 4 people in a historic home. Guests will be welcomed with a cocktail party with wine and hors d'oeuvres on Friday night. Saturday after breakfast, award-winning artist Karen Brock will lead you in an art experience including eco dying of silk and wool fabrics resulting in a piece you can take home. After your art class, enjoy wine and whiskey tasting and then a gourmet dinner paired with wine from Monks Gate Vineyard. Sunday morning, wake up to a champagne brunch in the home you are staying at.

5 – Jet Boat Guided Fishing and Camping on the Lower Deschutes for Four

Two nights and three days for four anglers. With the power of a jet boat, your Deschutes River fishing opportunities are unlimited! Your group will meet one of our professional guide staff at the Macks Canyon boat ramp at 2pm on the first day. Our focus with a jet boat is to put your group in the right water at the right times. This means that chasing Deschutes River Summer Steelhead happens early and late when there is shade on the water. We will take a mid-day break back at camp for lunch and relaxation.

10 - ‘Canyon Flight’ –by Holly Rodes Smithey and Rand Smithy

A collaborative piece made by Holly Rodes Smithey and Rand Smithey.  Abstract stories evoking flight and landscape are investigated in this wall sculpture using color, shape, texture, rhythm, and balance. Patina is used to etch the metal, creating textures of leaves, pebbles, and fossils that permeate the surface and evoke natural landscape pattern.

Both Rand and Holly are the featured artists for May at Peterson Roth Gallery in Bend.  Both will be showing new bodies of work starting First Friday, May 3rd.  The artists also welcome visitors to their studio/gallery space, sharing the tools and inspiration with their sculptures and paintings.

11 – DRC Supporter Wine Collection

About 20 bottles of fine wine valued at about $40 per bottle. Wines will be listed in detail at the auction.

12 – Solo Fishing Trip on the McKenzie with Ben Kittell of the Fly Fisher’s Place

Your guide, Ben Kittell, with take you through a long stretch of the McKenzie River with several put-in’s and take-out’s giving you the option of finding the perfect drift to fish for trout. While fishing from the boat or stopping to wade, this trip is the perfect getaway to nature to recharge and renew.

Restrictions: Subject to availability. Season runs from last Saturday in April to October 31st.
