A Fond Farewell to Tara Langston: Reflecting on Nine Years of Impact

Tara Langston has recently left the Deschutes River Conservancy to pursue a new professional path after contributing nine valuable years to our efforts. Her departure marks a significant transition; while we’re sad to see her go, we’re also optimistic about what the future holds for her.

Tara played a key role in our organization, managing crucial aspects like accounting, grant management, budgets, and financial reporting. Her educational background in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her certification as a CPA, along with her broad experience across public accounting and various roles in different sectors, significantly boosted our progress.

Beyond her professional contributions, Tara’s engagement in community service, her passion for dance, and her dedication to her family have positively impacted our community. These efforts have strengthened the fabric of our organization.

As Tara moves on, we want to thank her for her dedication and the positive impact she’s had on the Deschutes River Conservancy. We’re genuinely appreciative of her work and the legacy she leaves.
