Started by Avion and DRC in 2007, the Blue Water Program has protected over 10 billion gallons of water instream over the past 12 years (10.377 billion gallons = over 15,700 Olympic Pools). This is an average over 9 cubic feet per second (cfs) protected instream each year which is the equivalent of 1550 showerheads all on at the same time!
Avion Water patrons can sign up for Blue Water by checking on the Blue Water mailer they receive in this month’s bill. 100% of the funds go to water leasing projects facilitated by the DRC to protect water in the Deschutes River. Find out more.
