We had a great field day with the Deschutes Basin Water Collaborative seeing water conservation work in action. Even more impressive than the size of the pipe being installed in open-earth canals were the valves and meters installed at every point of delivery to water users. This project will allow on-demand management of water to yield even greater conservation benefits. The time and energy these irrigation districts are devoting to this conservation work are impressive. We’re proud to call Central Oregon Irrigation District a partner.
