The Deschutes River Conservancy has had the great privilege to have Natasha Bellis as our Program Manager for the last six years. She moved on to Deschutes Land Trust as the Conservation Director in August where she will be working with willing landowners to conserve and connect the community to the land.

“With a renewed focus on conserving lands that are adaptable to the changing climate, a commitment to building a more diverse, equitable and inclusive organization, and new executive director, this is an exciting time to be joining the land trust,” Natasha explained.

At the DRC, Natasha provided strategic oversight of the organization’s streamflow restoration programs. This included the negotiation of streamflow restoration agreements as well as the facilitation of stakeholder processes in priority reaches.

We look forward to continue working with Natasha in her new role at the Deschutes Land Trust, a close partner of the DRC.

“We’ll miss Natasha dearly. She has been an invaluable part of this organization. We look forward to continuing to work with her in her leadership role at the land trust.,” said Kate Fitzpatrick, DRC Executive Director
