In two sentences tell us what you do at the Deschutes River Conservancy.

I work across multiple programs to help elevate the work of my awesome colleagues. Specifically, I work in the water transactions, monitoring, and data analysis worlds.

What is the most important thing you are working on right now?

I’m wrapping up the bulk of the field monitoring season for some of our projects. The data collected is essential in helping to tell the story of how impactful our work in the Deschutes River Basin is.

Last book you read OR movie you watched?

I’m about to finish Desert Solitaire by Edward Abbey.

A quote you like to live by?

“Be well and do good work.”

What is the number one piece of advice you have for someone trying to get into this field?

Don’t be afraid to pick things up and put them down. The conservation world is broad, so stay curious and follow your interests as they develop.
