The Deschutes River Conservancy is honored to host an evening led by Tribal representatives sharing their perspectives on water, restoration, and resilience in the Deschutes Basin. The discussion will explore how Tribal priorities and leadership guide efforts to heal and sustain the river system—and how collaboration can support long-term balance across the Basin.

· Austin Smith, Jr. – General Manager of the Branch of Natural Resources for theConfederated Tribes of Warm Springs.
· Leona Ike, Warm Springs Tribal Elder and Master's student in Public Policy at Oregon State University.
· Moderated by Lisa Seales, PhD and Senior ProgramManager for DRC will facilitate the discussion.

Deschutes River Conservancy's Raise the Deschutes Seminar Series was created to increase regional water knowledge, understanding of local issues, and awareness of available solutions. These seminars provide opportunities for the public to engage with water experts who will present on and answer questions regarding the primary water issues affecting the Deschutes River Basin and the programs in place to address these issues.
